Here in the United Kingdom today is the Winter Solstice; the shortest day of the year.  This day is of great significance to me as it means that as from tomorrow the days get longer, giving more opportunities for adventures outdoors.  Bears like to be outdoors.   I collected some greenery from the garden to commemorate the passing of the winter solstice.
